On March 9, 2026 the Sixth Man Club held a Celebration of Life for Coach Howard at the University of Calgary.
The celebration was a touching tribute for the legendary coach; attended by many guests including family, friends, former players, assistant coaches and others from the basketball community. Stories were shared of their time with Coach Howard, his impact, and plenty of his famous one liners were recited. There was no shortage of laughter, emotion and shedding of tears. It’s now available for those who couldn’t attend.
